Astoria Hotel Restaurants and Bars Davidov Restaurant Davidov, a fashionable Russian restaurant, has an excellent reputation. Located on the ground floor adjacent to Reception, Davidov offers an array of exciting Russian cuisine accompanied by a wide range of fine wines. Overlooking St Isaac's Square, the restaurant is divided by flowing linen and crystal chandeliers, which illuminate the distinctive local Lomonosov porcelain. If you would prefer a lighter snack, or would simply like to savour the best caviar in Russia, there is also a very good vodka and caviar bar in Davidov, where even the most faint-hearted will find it hard to resist sampling Russia's traditional fare. The Bar The elegant bar, located off the main lobby, is an oasis of tranquillity. At the end of March 2001 the bar was opened after refurbishment to the highest level of comfort and style. Here we offer a wide range of cocktails, spirits, local and international beers as well as light dining throughout the day and evening. Open every day from 8:00 am until the last customer leaves.
Lobby Lounge With a total of nine 11-foot arched windows swathed in beautiful Volga linen surrounding the room, this is the heart of the Astoria and the perfect place to contemplate the northern skies and Russian life past and present, as life goes on around you in the square. Open for continental breakfast (7:00 am to 10:00 am), delicious light meals and the very best afternoon tea in town (3:00 pm to 6:00 pm), not closing until the last song of our resident singer.
